For what should really be a hidden gem this steak house was once again a bit of a disappointment. For the 3rd time in the last year I ordered the prime rib med well to go. Which for under $30.00 comes with 2 sides. I had a loaded baked potatoes and green beans. Once again after I got home and looked at this nice large slice of prime rib i was upset beacause once again it was almost bloody. Maybe in Richmond Kansas the standards are different than the rest of the world but I will try one more time and I will order it well done. I will then pray that its not a overcooked hunk of meat. It reminds me of Temu.. if u have ordered clothes threw this Chinese mail order company than u know after your first order that a large in China is about an adult small size here. Its a shame something simple as that could really affect repeat business. Well we will see next time how it comes cooked then i will be able to complement all the great things the place has to order.

First time eating there, best local restaurant! Had filet mignon, baked potato, fries, mushrooms. Was great! And my drink was served in a frosty mug ( it is the little things that please me) highly recommend!

A friendly, locally owned, restaurant in rural Kansas. Just what you would expect. It is worth the drive for the pie.
I had the prime rib sandwich and apple pie for lunch. Since this was my first visit, I got the benefit of a wonderful policy they have where on your first visit the pie is on the house. They even added ice cream and whip cream when I asked for it for no charge. All their meats come from local Kansas ranches. My only mistake was not getting a whole pie ($27) to go. :( Oh and If you don't like one of their homemade pies, they also have a killer brownie with ice cream option. That might be the desert I choose next time I am there.

This place was a surprise! It was the best steak (perfect medium rare) I've had in a very very long time. My husband and I both had steaks, potatoes and a salad, Iced tea, and we also had fried pickles for an appetizer. The bill was roughly $90. Well worth it!!! The salad was great. The mashed potatoes were homemade, but the gravy is not and they put a lot of gravy on the mashed potatoes. I don't mind the package gravy except on a Hot Beef Sandwich. So, I won't be getting that. But there are many items I do want to try! It was delicious!

Goooood CHILI HERE!!! Cheap Beer, great conversations, LOTS OF PARKING! And inside plenty of seating for one or the whole family! Wheelchair accessible!
And as of recently, Princeton’s now on DoorDash for the Ottawa server and as a Dasher I’ve delivered to Princeton form Ottawa - but I’ve not yet received an order from any businesses in Princeton but I’m hoping eventually Brand N Iron will get on DoorDash - if they’re not already 🥹

Always top notch. Steaks are local raised beef and cooked as it should be. Prices are reasonable and service was friendly and efficient. Even on a busy night with a wait to be seated never had to wait for anything. Salads, apps and main course were timed perfectly and drinks were kept full. Our server Cara did a great job. Also while waiting to be seated they take drink orders and serve you in the foyer. Hostess even has cold beers on ice at her station. Our 6th or so visit here (2+ hr drive) and becoming one of my favorite places to get a steak.
