The atmosphere is fine for a small town place. For the size or it, they do a good job bussing tables and seating folks in a timely manner.
My order was a ribeye, medium rare, baked potato and seasonal vegetables, which were microwaved mix of carrots, squash and broccoli.
My wife ordered the tenderloin, med rare, baked potato and salad.
My plate was fine, however the ribeye was tough and lacked any seasoning. It was served more on the high medium side that medium rare.
My wife's dinner was down right horrible. First, her 6oz tenderloin was more like a 3oz medallion and way over cooked. The aerve acknowledged the lacking portion size when delivered and offered a complimentary shrimp skewer. Being we were there for steaks due to her running in a local event, shrimp really wasn't a wise option so she offered another tenderloin at a small uncharge. That was appreciated, yet the second tenderloin was over cooked more than the first. Honestly, I've never seen tenderloin have the shreaded consistency of beef jerky before and wondered if it was a chuckeye instead. War crimes had to have been committed to get that steak cooked to that temperature.
All in all, I would not consider returning here. I understand there isn't a whole lot in the local area that has a similar menu, so I can see where folks can gravitate to its appeal. That said, I wish the business well, but I see how a lot of the good reviews are mostly local comments.
Side note, it was nice seeing young kids there wiping down tables and learning work ethics. The family owned vibe was strong and that should be appreciated by all who visit.

Have been going for the last 15 years, still some of the same great people who always are happy to have you and absolutely killer food!
Me and a couple friends went here, to get some food mid afternoon. We walked in, and the atmosphere was cozy, and very homey. We took a seat, and a nice waitress, Hayley, came over and started our order. Once the food was here, we dug in, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the iron burger, and my friend got a pork steak. They were soooo good. After we were done eating, we got some desert, and once again, it was AMAZING. Definitely try if you are in the area.
