This was definitely a small town local inspiration. It was like walking into someones house while they were eating. Everyone looked up and I didn't know but it felt like everyone was somehow related. My family and I met up for a mini-family reunion for dinner before going out to the Rush County Fair. The place was slammed, but staff was doing a great job keeping everyone happy. I appreciated the un-conventional picnic table in the dining room, this allowed all of my family and I to sit together at one table. You know when it's lunch time and all the locals come in, this IS THE PLACE! Had a double cheese burger with homemade fries. WoW, it really was one of the BEST burgers I have had! Hands down! The best. Will be back to try out the rest of the menu. They said the chicken fried steak is hand-made and will probably be next. But the burger may be hard to resist..
