The Barrister's Bar & Judge's Grill

It is like ordering at a fast food joint. You look up at menus at the bar. We were unable to have an adult beverage for some reason. We ordered both sushi and hibachi and both were just okay and the chicken was tough.

Service was perfect. Food came out fast. Everything was delicious. So much flavor. The seating was comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience. There were so many flies inside that we couldn’t even eat. The flies were constantly landing on us and our food. The food was not very good at all. And the service was very sub par.

Wanted to eat here on our road trip. Said open but when we arrived, it was closed. They need to keep up with hours and actually open when they say they are open!!

We have attempted to go three times when their website, Google profile and sign out front says they're open but they are closed!Show some courtesy and update something if you're not open.

Good food. We sat at bar and had had fun chatting with the girls working there. Even got Lisa to smile.

The food was excellent, would have been a 5 star raiting but wait staff needs more training, the order was not correct.

An amazing upscale feeling of a city restaurant, in a small town while still delivering reasonable prices

Vegetarian options: Great salad with mixed greens

Dietary restrictions: Super accommodating. The waitress even brought the bottle of dressing out so I could read the ingredients.

Our server, Olivia, was great! She provided attentive service and we had a wonderful discussion. Food was good. Laid back vibe. Law books all around made it interesting.

Great atmosphere, awesome employees, huge beer selection too. Ask the bartender to make Hunter's special gin cocktail, you won't regret it.They were also kind enough to recently host my band and two others for a wild night of good drinks and loud music, we had an excellent time!I should mention their hours of operation have changed recently, and the kitchen has been closed as well, but have heard rumors it's coming back in due time.

I was absolutely floored by this place. I'm a hunter and a foodie (weird combination but I deal with it the best I can. I'm from out of state but no stranger to Russell. I took my dad who is very much the traditional out of town hunter. He agreed to eat at The Bar at my request and he absolutely devoured and loved the burger. My turn, craft beer selection was on point, staff was friendly at attentive, completely understood that I was a talker and my dad wasn't (though my dad opened up by the end of our evening) and finally my burger was cooked to perfection and I was a huge fan of the fries. If we were staying longer I would absolutely eat there again .

Was there tonight. Waitress advanced us that the food is not the same after the chef quit.Food was not up to par for the decor. Overpriced fast food.
