Great food farm to table style and the best cut french fries I've ever had. The cheese curds were phenomenal and the cheesesteak was really good. He had a great time. Our server/bartender was so friendly.
Great people and good food! Service was spot on. Great place highly recommend this place
We have stopped here twice as we have traveled the state of Kansas! The first time it was a sweltering day and the air conditioning was working, but it was a little warmer than a typical restaurant. We ordered wings, fried pickles and a couple of beers. Service was prompt and food came out appropriately timed. I will say I usually hate fried pickles, but these were fried pickles spears and were actually very good! So good that I would place an order as an appetizer for any future...read full review

The Windy Saloon is a restaurant in a small town that is worth going out of your way for. The food is great, farm to table style, and tastes homemade. The menu includes the best cut french fries, cheese curds, a cheesesteak, wings, fried pickles, fried pickle spears, a salad, cooked to order Buffalo burgers, awesome sandwiches, homemade warm chips, and steak. The food is consistently outstanding, and nothing feels mass-produced or reheated. The restaurant is unbelievably clean, and the employees are friendly, welcoming, and kind. The service is prompt, and the food comes out appropriately timed. The air conditioning works, and the inside is extremely pleasant. There are drinks for the adults, including a Blueberry IPA draft and a couple of beers, and food for the little kids. The owner truly cares about the community and is always willing to support local causes. It is a perfect family restaurant with an authentic rustic small town experience, great food, great people, and a fair price. It is highly recommended.
