If you love authentic this is for sure the place to go. Amazing ramen bowls and delicious sushi paired with mouth watering milk tea drinks. And the service is quick and freindly. Simply unbeatable!

When I ordered tonkotsu ramen, ponkotsu ramen came out. Soup like hot water.

Not Authentic, Extremely Disappointed:Bad Tea, Bad Ramen. As someone who's traveled the country and been to countless ramen shops, this place is very sub-par.To the average American with minimal experience with traditional ethnic foods, this place might be somewhat good. But to an ethnic food connoisseur as myself, this place under delivers. The tea was presented as a bag with some hot water in a plastic jug (microplastics yay). I had to pour myself in a glass cup for $3.50.The ramen that I specifically asked for firm noodles came out with very soggy noodles, tasteless broth, and flavorless beef. With a cheap plastic spon to go with. Couldn't even finish eating it due to the previously mentioned. In a plastic bowl also...The "Steam Pork Buns" were more like Asian style pork tacos, not at all what I was expecting.Only redeeming factor is some of the cool looking artwork. That said, nobody wants to listen to western pop while eating "authentic" Japanese food. You can only call this place "authentic" if you think McDonalds is an authentic representation of American Burgers when compared to 5 guys or your old 70-80s themed local burger joint.Hopefully, the other ramen shop in town lives up to the reviews, as this one didn't. Will likely never return...Overall 3/10

Keeping it simple...no oceans in Kansas. Actually the fish is flown in twice a week. Normal sized rolls. The tempura is so thick and crusty, it overwhelmed the other flavors in those rolls. Avocado was stringy. Had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Can't recommend for anyone who has eaten proper sushi. Sorry.

The waiting time before ordering became worse compared with last year(2023).Even if the guest waits to be asked the order, the staff concentrates on the table cleaning. And the noodles were overcooked this time.

We love Koi Ramen! Moving from Dallas we have had a hard time finding good food at some places and Koi is amazing. My husband says the ramen reminds him of being in Japan when he worked there. Very reasonably pricing too!

Came in around 12:30pm and we're seated quickly.Table was clean and equipped with napkins, utensils, and soy sauce.Wait staff was very friendly and helpful.I ordered the chicken kaarage and tonkatsu ramen with extra pork belly (pictured). Kaarage has a wonderful crunch and not too chewy interior. Paired with the spicy mayo for a sweet kick. The ramen broth was savory and pork belly was crispy on its outer layer but melts in your mouth soon after. Tonkatsu as it should be, a cozy and relaxing experience. Noodles were firm but not overcooked.Great experience. Would dine here again!

Food was very good and staff is top notch. Ramen could have been spicier but ingredients are fresh. The meal was hearty and the beer was ice cold.

Well worth the money, good atmosphere and waitresses are always walking by seeing if you need anything, and the food tasted really good. My wife and I both got the Shoyu ramen, the Salina roll and some dumplings. Everything tasted really good.

Highly recommend the ramen bowls from Koi. Compared to other places in KC Metro and Lawrence. It was fulfilling and flavorful.
