It had been a long time since I had been here. The sliced beef brisket wasn't bad, but the fries were greasy, brown little stubs. Granted, it as a very tall pile of stubs, but stubs none the less.

They can’t warm the buns, so the bun was hard, first place that they can’t warm the buns, the sandwich that my friend ate was cold; we ordered the Sunday Ribs Promo, they’re big portion but dry. We ordered the Burn Ends Platter, and the Platter was full of fries, the burn ends were overcooked and the sized was a joke for the price you pay. The beans were old, the slaw was just salad no dressing…. It was really bad experience, we will not come back!!!! We don’t recommend this place.

Went in last night to pick up food for the family. Ordered kids meal and Mixed Plate Plus. Unfortunately when I got home was missing one of the meats on the plate, the side, and BBQ sauce which I asked for before I left and was assured it was in bag. Frustrating to say the least.

Been coming to KC for years to visit our kid. Always try to have some KC BBQ when in town. This was the worst BBQ we have ever had. I had a burnt end sandwich and couldn't eat some of the ends they were to hard and dry. The. Onion rings were way over cooked and the coleslaw/pulled pork sandwiches others had, had no meet. The buns were bad also. Worst $65 I have eve spent!

I’ve seen post about this place on instagram, I remember seeing this place before, when I worked at Hy-very, when it was there, never went in, was going to another restaurant, today is pizza buffet and beer but instead I came here, its noon and the place is getting busy, I walked in and seen the beer prices and new this was the place for me, I had low carb plate, which is 1/2 pounds of your choice of slice meat, 1rib and two pickle, our famous fries, which was made right in the house, Friday and Saturday beer special $3 on cans, certain beers , now did I mention inside, all different kinds of license plates, everywhere , if u haven’t been here, why not, but the food and service is excellent, all these people waiting in line, must say something, the first person u meet at the start of u order, super cool and out going and than you have the cashier, super nice

I placed my order in really thought that the staff would just go back to their normal everyday routine. Instead surprisingly the gentleman who took my order was very engaged and seemed interested in what I've been doing all day. It felt heartfelt. You could tell that he'd been working hard. I went on later to read that this gentleman is one of the people trying to keep the tradition going. I like to support small businesses and I will definitely drive 30 minutes out of my way to come back to support them. Good job staff! Even the young lady who checked me out laughed when I joked with them. I don't know if it was a sympathy laugh or she really thought I was funny ??. The ribs I picked up where good. They were overcooked but easily overlooked by the amount of service that brought a smile to my face! Thank you
