DO NOT GET GAS FROM HY-VEE. I'm so disgusted with this company. used my card at the pump and pumped 20 dollars, and they literally took all the money in my account. I have the receipt and screen shots of the transaction.. absolutely ridiculous.. it's pending in my account and my funds are at zero... why is hy vee even still in business. all around horrible grifting company out for only itself. no dinner tonight I guess ..thanks Hy-Vee!

I came in this morning to grab breakfast. An employee in a Hy-Vee Chef's coat was standing outside by entrance smoking a cigarette and looking at his phone . I went to the grill and picked up a sandwich in warming bin stacked on top of another. It was cold because they're not supposed to be stacked. I moved the cold one to the bin over that was empty and grabbed the one underneath. The employee that was outside smoking walked behind me and slammed the sandwich I moved that was cold back in the bin It was in prior. He was cursing and making a big deal of it. He directly walked back to the grill and started cooking. Didn't wash his hands or use gloves. Now he had smoked a cigarette, touched his mouth area, his phone, and door. Not washing his hands at any time. I told the cashier of my treatment and hot food improperly kept temp. Large male heavy set employee not washing in his hands and cooking the food . She just shook her head in disbelief. I will stick to the 87th St Hy-Vee gas station. They're nice , and clean. However, normally Angela the manger is nice and I would have talked to her but didn't see her this morning.

After shopping exclusively from here for 12 years, today was my last day ever walking into this store again. There wasn’t one checker working when I went in to get the few items I bought, so I had to use self checkout. The woman watching the self checkout was way too close to me, this isn’t the first time she has done this either. She was a skinny blonde with glasses and is the rudest person that works at this store. Not only was she super close but she made me uncomfortable and made it seem she was watching me like I was going to steal. Between my boyfriend and myself, we collectively spend over $2,000 a month here, I don’t need to be treated that way because I have a memorial tattoo on my arm and a nose ring. I’ve already spoken about this very thing with a manager a few months ago and nothing has been done. I will be shopping elsewhere, I will never spend a penny at this Hy-Vee or any other again.
No cashiers or baggers now? Leaning on self check out is not the way to go. Odd.

This was a nice light meal, which was exactly what I was looking for. I had the Mahi Mahi Chicken Tacos. It has cabbage, chicken, pico, and aioli honey Sriracha sauce. It also has a hard shell taco wrapped up with a soft tortilla. I must say, this unique combination really worked. I was a little curious about this place, but I was also reluctant; however, I am glad I finally gave this place ago.
Pacific Island American Soy Sauce
I recommend the meat department and the Pacific Island American Soy Sauce! 🇺🇸🤙🏽🏝🥳

Ok, so you are 28cents per gallon higher than everyone in the area? So much for fuel savers program from Hy vee. Çorrect me if this is incorrect.Update,,,the wife just went to get fuel and the price was 3.79 per gallon. NOT 4.08 as reported.
