Very good food. I came from NC to visit and we went here. It was so good. They had something none of our Mexican restaurants had and was so good. It taste like corn bread but like a mash.
This is the best Jose Peppers I've ever been to! I have food allergies, and they accommodate me every time. The food is amazing, the servers are personable, and the location is right around the corner. I keep coming back!

Jose Pepper's is a good, mid-range Mexican food experience. The chips and salsa were excellent, but the beans and rice (an odd seasoning I didn't care for) leave a bit to be desired. My entree - chicken chimi - was probably 3.5/5. Very reasonable prices and our server was great. Overall, a very solid, local chain experience.
If you're in the KC area and in the mood for Mexican, they're a good choice with multiple locations.
