I ordered ahead for a delivery to be delivered to my house at 6:15pm (about 1 mile from the store). I called at 6:40pm and my food had not been finished being made. I received my food around 7:05pm and man was it a sore disappointment. I ordered some bacon cheese sticks, which was mediocre at best, and a customized pizza bowl with no cheese. Of course the pizza bowl had cheese. Yet another pizza place that can't follow simple directions and ruined my child's dinner.

I was taken away from the service I received today. I work part-time with doordash. I was picking up an orderfor a customer. I let the employee know who I was picking up for . He gave me the order and then asked me to do I have a pizza bag. I said yes,it's in my car, and my car is parked right in front . I'll put the order in my pizza bag once I get to the car .This tall 6"4 Carcasion male snatched the order out of my hands rudely. And told me we have a sign and pointed at it on the counter in small print . So I went to my car and got the pizza bag and came in and asked for the pizza .He gave it to me . I put the order in my car and then came back into the store to ask for his name or manager. Which he wouldn't give it to me. I said thats fine ."Just write a review. It's just pizza, but the way this employee handled the situation was wrong by snatching the pizza out of my hands, which could have damaged the customer order that could cause him to remake the order. Then, he has a bigger issue on his hands because the customer would have to wait longer for her order.At my drop-off location for the customer, I asked her to check her pizza before I left because the employee snatched her order out my hands because I didn't have mypizza bag in my hands when picking up her order. She kindly checked her order, and it was fine and still hott .I told her if it was messed up.I'll take it back and make sure it's right and have the employee at Papa John's remake it.I will never order or work in Shawnee Mission again because this isn't the first time I have experienced rude employees in this area.

I am not one to do a review for a negative reason, but, this experience needs to be shared.I’ve been coming to this store almost 4 years everybody work here so nice and every manager before I deal with them, so so nice people just the manager now I don’t know what his name I ask him about his name he don’t want to give me his name, he’s always pure hat on his head he’s so rude and racist. He’s been racist and rode always to me for no reason just because one time I ask him about the order? how long will it take on his get mad today now that’s my second time with him. He’s been rude for no reason.
I'm basically a regular at this Papa John's location. They provide excellent customer service and my pizza is always delicious. I have never had a problem with ordering food here unlike the dominos across the street.

Papa John's bailed us out big time! We had placed an order in advance for 22 pizzas at Dominos across the street, and when we got there to pick up our order, no one was there. Someone eventually showed up and told us our order wasn't made and wouldn't be made for more than an hour. No one called us, no one cared. With more than 60 people expecting to be fed soon, we went across the street to Papa John's. Not only did they make all our pizzas in less than 40 minutes, Sabrina was so kind, and so committed to making sure we were fully taken care of. My gratitude is deep.
