Pegah's Family Restaurant Reviews
My long time gal pals met today for lunch at Pegas in downtown Shawnee. Nonnie, our fabulous waitress made our day!! Her UK accent, attention to details, knowledge of food choices was awesome. She’s a GEM! Our food was excellent, well prepared & atmosphere was welcoming
We had such a great experience at the LS Pegah’s tonight. Our kids were tired from homecoming festivities and whiny, making them harder to maintain. Our waitress and the entire staff were nothing but amazing to us coming over talking to the kids and making sure we had everything we needed. There was a slight mishap with our one of our dishes and our server (Emma I think) felt so bad and went above and beyond to make it right. We will definitely be back- our food was amazing!!
Terrible to work for owner discriminates against women and men with family’s and disabilities the food is not fresh most of it comes on a truck frozen. And the owner doesn’t actually do anything for the store. Wasn’t paying fair wages and has children locking the store

Pegah's Family Restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming place for a delicious and affordable breakfast with family or friends. The famous country skillet is absolutely delicious, featuring perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon. The portions are generous, leaving customers fully satisfied. Many regulars enjoy the small town diner feel, and the friendly interactions between staff and guests add to the warm atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff like Elektra providing excellent support. Customers can also enjoy dishes like tuna salad and waffle fries, which are often praised for their quality. While some dishes, like liver and onions, may not be up to par, the Carnitas omelette with extra jalapenos is a favorite. The Chicken fried steak is beyond yummy, and the mashed potatoes are impossibly smooth. The restaurant’s hospitality is outstanding, with generous donations to community programs showing their caring nature. Although the layout may seem a bit strange, good-sized portions and tasty sides make up for it. Prices are reasonable, though some customers wish for real whipped cream instead of canned. Overall, Pegah's is a great place to enjoy fantastic food and good company, making it a spot many plan to visit again.
