Me and my girlfriend were craving fried okra so we Googled it, and this was the first place that came up. So we went. And now we've found our new place to go everytime we're in topeka. She got the rasta pasta and it was cooked fresh even the sauce and the portion was huge, it made 3 meals. I got the smothered chicken with red beans and rice and everything was amazing. Chef was super cool and does an awesome job. It's to bad emporia can't have anything good like this. We'll be back everytime.

I just took a bite of the most tender, crispy, hot fried catfish you will ever put in your mouth. Mercy.. we love eating this food. The chef has great instinct for flavor, and his food is honest. I know his Grandma is proud.

I was so ecstatic over the food we called the restaurant to personally thank the chef. Highly recommend this place, so please give him your business!!!!
