The burger was prepared well and my friend enjoyed her salad. The waitress was on point.

Not good! I went there on my birthday, and the pick-up server decided to add a tip on my credit card on their own. I've contacted management several times and still no response. Be aware pay attention to your bill when using your credit card smfh.

Only complaint is where we were seated. Every time the door opened for a delivery driver, we were hit with a blast of cold air almost to the point of putting coats back on.

If there was a way to give a negative star I would. This place is so disgusting, the food is bad, the place is dirty, the bar was so covered in fruit flys that my drink had gnats in it, and I personally watched the lady serve multiple drinks with flies. Truly revolting. I didn't even order a meal last time, just some appetizers and a drink. My friend and I chose not to touch any of the food or the drinks and we left. How this place can pass a health inspection with even a D+ would be a shocker. Not unusual for Topeka, but this was beyond the average gross chain restaurant.
Fine place for a quick bite when you want to get standard comfort food.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to wait on us. 5 servers walked by but ignored us. As we left we told the girl at the door that had seated us not to put anyone at that tanker because they wouldn’t get waited on. She just looked at us, never said a thing. Might mention they were not that busy.
Best Applebee's visit in 2024.

Ask for the hamburger to be well done and it came out bleeding. They asked me if I wanted to send it back. I said no, because I don't want anyone to spit on my food.

My 2nd experience. A friend & I went to dinner last night. I ordered the ribs with fries. The ribs were delicious. They were served warm. Perfect temp to eat. The fries were old. They were hard. They were a big disappointment. I was so looking forward to some hot fresh French fries. Kind of ruined my dinner since I did not have anything else to eat with my ribs. I left them. So basically just ate my ribs.
Applebees made it right by sending me an e-gift card. I appreciate it. I will return and try again.
My first experience. I had such a wonderful experience. My food was fresh & it was all the correct temperature. I had the French onion soup, Asian sweet chili boneless wings & the chicken wonton tacos. I’m still craving the tacos. It was all delicious.
My service was awesome too.
It surely makes up for a horrible experience I recently had at a different restaurant.

This place fire, food fire, service fire its fire. Had a lil wait on the alcohol and food but nothing outrageous. We went around lunch time. I don’t understand the bad reviews.
