What a great piece of Americana!! This grill delivers the goods. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and a pice of raisin cream pie. Delish! The meatloaf dinner was under $10 f’sho the price is right, just a wonderful place! Love it!

In all my years of living in Topeka I had never eaten there. My son wanted to try it so we stopped in for lunch the other day. The guy at the counter was super friendly which is a rarity anymore in this town. The food came out quick and tasted great like a very good home cooked meal. A lady kindly took our plates and was just as friendly as the guy at the counter. They thanked us when we were leaving. I will begin to eat there more often.

It's a homey, warm, happy but very basic set-up. Counter order then grab a seat. Counter staff was friendly and kind. Then the bus lady who brought me my food was so nice. I didn't tip on the payment at the counter, but left a few bucks after I realized just how nice they all are. Definitely a go to for a quick lunch. Chilli is better than my mom's. Nuff said. Reuben was good as well. I'm coming back for sure.

The food is some of the best in Topeka, I am always blown away when I get a burger from there. I love their open faced sandwiches! The food is a bit pricy, but it's worth it for the quality and taste.
