We stood at the window to order for 10+ minutes, along with another group. No employees near the drive through window or the walk up window. 4 or 5 employees doing nothing in the back, on their phones. The other group knocked on the window to try to get them to come take orders. They still didn’t come up even though they clearly made eye contact.
I ordered a blizzard ice cream cake for my sons birthday. When I cut the cake it was not what was ordered. Matt the manager made it seem like it was our fault that we received the wrong cake. Matt this is not a good look on you. You yelled at my wife on the phone and said it was our fault we ordered the wrong one. Did not take responsibility for the situation. My dipped cone was melted by the time they finally get it to you. Rude employees. The girl practically threw the cone in my car when I questioned her about it being melted. I will drive across town to Sheridan's next time.

DQ / Orange Julius is a restaurant with a patio that needs attention to cleanliness. The staff, while not rude, can appear indifferent and uninterested in providing a welcoming atmosphere. Meals, such as the chocolate Reese's peanut butter cup Blizzard, may require re-making due to mistakes. However, the food can be very good when prepared correctly. The location on 17th Street is preferred by some, possibly due to the surrounding atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant has its flaws, but loyal customers still enjoy their visits.
