Good Beer. Food/snacks are expensive. The bartenders dog was annoying and kept barking at all other patrons and their dogs. The bartender only kept yelling at it which did not help. This made other patrons with their dogs very uncomfortable. Other than that, nice atmosphere and good beer if it was not for the dog. Probably will skip this brewery in future.
I had visited Happy Basset a year ago and fell in love with the Freckle Trippel. Amazing beer. This year I was passing through Topeka again in my RV. I popped by on a Monday and met Jessie, she was serving that amazing beer and welcomed me with great conversation. Of course I met a superbly fine guy named Justin who too was a welcoming soul. They both invited me back for wing night on Wednesday. So I went back for amazing wings. But the true great thing about Happy Basset...
Had a very nicely balanced cocktail menu! Beer selection was quite seasonal, but had a few reds and browns as a repreave. No full kitchen, but had some salty snack foods. And they are "Good Citizen" pet friendly:)
