Group of 4, we had excellent service and the dinner was great. Our server Mireya was so kind and engaging with us, made our experience better. We have been here many times and will continue to come back. We love supporting local.

If you’re looking for an Olive Garden experience, this place delivers—but without the value. It feels like a knock-off version of Olive Garden, offering endless salad and breadsticks. The food itself isn’t bad, but nothing stands out as exceptional either. For the price—which is just as high as the real Olive Garden—you’d hope for either better quality or a more original dining experience. Overall, it’s fine if you’re craving Italian-American comfort food, but don’t expect to be wowed.

The server's name is Chris. He hasn't been there long. He does an amazing job serving his customers. But the food was below my standard almost gross. I couldn't hardly eat the meat in my lasagna. Salad dressing was nasty tasting. Bread sticks were good. But give Chris a raise for being tentative server!!!!!!!!

Food did not taste good. Too big of serving. If wasn't so expensive, I would have left it on my plate and left.

The Calamari tasted like it came straight from the Mariners basement.

First time coming here and will definitely be the last. Service was great at first. Food was disgusting. Fiance was in the bathroom after just a few bites. Server had her significant other keep knocking on the bathroom door but never went in after my fiance had got out. Instead when he did come out the server told her man that she will see him at home and he left. Assuming they was knocking to make sure he didnt skip out on the bill. I guess if the food wasn't so disgusting, you wouldn't have to worry about that. 🤷‍♀️ Very unprofessional and will definitely never be back. Olive garden puts them to shame.

My daughters and I had lunch at Piasano's today. The food was delicious and the service was a 10/10. If you dine there, ask for Marc (with a c), the French man, for your waiter. He was a delight. Thank you Marc.

Our family ate at Paisanos this week. It had been quite a while since we’d been, and when my daughter suggested Olive Garden - I said, let’s support a local business instead. We were so glad we did! Our server was excellent, with prompt attention to our drinks. The salad was delicious. The portions were large; we took most of our meals home. Our server boxed up our meals for us. We each got two meals out of what we took home. When we reheated the leftovers at home, the sauces didn’t separate into mostly oil like the Olive Garden sauces do.

My son and I ate there yesterday, 12/27/24, towards the tail end of the night. It was dead, I heard every conversation that all the servers and bar tenders had as they waited around bored. Small portions for the price, such as the lasagna is the same size as the lunch portion, yet $9 more so basically a piece is $19. Alfredo was gross and served with two "itlalian" bratwurst. Dollar General sells better sauce this this crap and the sausage was gross. $50, could have spent less at OG and it would have been better.

This was the worst experience we have ever had here. Salad was very limp, breadsticks are tiny, food looked and tasted like it had came straight out of a frozen dinner package. requested extra marina and Parmesan cheese, received neither. Food delivery was GREAT through Eat Street, however I don't believe I will ever be willing to try this restaurant again. 😠

Amazing! We had stuffed mushrooms and artichoke dip. Both were appetizers. One would have been enough with salad and bread sticks.

Paisanos is everything olive garden attempts to be. We loved the great service and the food quality. The lunch special is not bad. This is on the more expensive side but the portions are huge and you cannot beat the quality. It's a nice hole in the wall.

If I've never reviewed this place, I have no idea why not! It is my favorite Italian restaurant EVER. Incredible pastas, sauces, seafoods, and wines, served in a friendly, intimate setting, followed with a spectacular creme brulé....come on! What's not to love? This is a Topeka landmark and not to be missed.

Dietary restrictions: There is a large collection of gluten free options. They are clearly marked and, according to my gluten-sensitive son, actually delicious!

We came in with high expectations considering the other reviews. We came in around noon on a Saturday. For an appetizer, we had the calimari and it tasted okay - the breading was thicker than we usually see for it (similar to mozzarella stick).

For our entrées, we had Cajun Trio pasta and the Sicilian Spaghetti. Both were incredibly disappointing and underwhelming. The sauce for the Cajun Trio tasted like nothing, an absolute shame for anything labeled "Cajun." The andouille tasted like it's been frozen and reheated (chewy!) and both the chicken and shrimp tasted plain and dry. The spaghetti sauce also tasted canned (highly acidic) and the meatball was dry and flavorless. Our kids had the mini Pepperoni pizza and again, tasted frozen and reheated.

For over $20 a dish, we would have rather just gone to Fazolis and gotten the same quality of reheated food. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews but when you spend over $80 and leave having only picked at your food, it's frustrating.
