Fresh hot food! And it literally stayed hot the entire time we ate here! The chef was very accommodating to our requests amd the staff were amazingly patient and friendly! Atmosphere is like your neighborhood pizzeria! Will be continuing to go here for years to come!

Always good food, service and atmosphere. Prices are great too. I got chicken fried steak. Waitress even gave me some brown bread icecream for my birthday! I do recommend this place.
Just a question....has service at Pizza Parlor always been horrible? New to Oakland. Went into today with the husband at 1pm. Walked in got stared at by the staff, sat down in a booth waited to be greeted (that never happened) husband finally after 15min went to ask for menu's the waitress at the cash register just slid the menu toward him didn't say a word. There was 1 table there who already eaten besides us. Waitress never even came up to us. Needless to say we walked out.Went to Sonic instead. I would rather support local instead of chain but after my experience at Pizza Parlor won't go back. Damn shame to! Looked like the owner had a TV on the verge of quitting but clearly he doesn't need business........

Outta all my years eating there I never had to wait 20 minutes to just for my order to be taken or and 1 hour for my food to come for that matter it never came...... SMH never will I be back again to spend my money sad that the evening people that worked there didn't even bother to ask or to see if I needed

A solid neighborhood spot that has just gotten better with time. After moving from their longtime location just down the avenue this family favorite for after game gatherings, daily lunchtime specials and friendly service is better than ever. Their very affordable pizzas aren't winning any international awards but they have a certain charming crunchy texture and always hit the spot. I love their french fry basket and a cold beer in a frosty mug after a hot day on the golf course.The Monday special is fried chicken and is always pretty good. Lots of locals gathered around the bar trading stories and Jody their main waitress/bar keep is as sweet as pie!
