Upon entering I noticed how adorable this cafe is. My husband and I were promptly greeted with a smile. I was not warned that this place is good enough to make your eyes bigger than your stomach. The service and food was amazing. Cinnamon rolls get a 10/10 from me which is hard to do! 😉 Will definitely be back for more. Thank you for the great experience!
We had lunch at the Somerset Cafe today for our father's 87th birthday and we had a wonderful time! What a lovely setting in the Flint Hills! The service was excellent; the food was fresh and so tasty - best sweet potato fries ever! And then the pie - wow! We had peach, strawberry rhubarb, bluegoose and then pumpkin cheesecake. We are already planning our next trip back to this treasure of a cafe in Dover, KS.
I bought a gooseberry pie to surprise my 95 year old father in-law and it was the BEST PIE we’ve had since my mother was baking pies. AMAZINGLY AMAZING PIE!!! Thank you Sommerset Cafe! Can’t wait to try other flavors of your delicious pie.
