We were on the road headed south from Omaha, wanted some bbq, found the reviews and loved the name. We were not disappointed!my husband got the wings and tips with beans and slaw I got the pulled pork Indian taco. All the meat had the right amount of smoke and seasoning. All perfectly tender! Soooo if you are in the neighborhood or not it’s worth the trip. The owner was very friendly and his mama makes the desserts. 5 plus stars!!!
I ordered a slab of ribs, Mac and cheese, cheesy potatoes, and rib tips. Listen, when I tell you it was great. Especially having a bad experience in Kansas City my home town. This is definitely KC style bbq. Everyone in the region need to come to Topeka Kansas just to try this barbecue spot here. And the sauce isn’t bad either!
I stopped by at lunchtime, on an impulse,for some ribs. I have enjoyed eating ribs for several decades and truly never savored such tender, thick cuts of ribs EVER! Truly!!❤️ I ate them without the sauce to fully enjoy those ribs. Soul Fire BBQ is definitely front and center for my bbq needs. Whoa….heavenly food!
