I do not know the name of the woman who was working the register when my grandmother and I stopped in, but she was so lovely and kind! We did not realize the lobby closed at 8. It was 7:55pm. Instead of asking us to leave, she offered to ring us up so we could take our food to go rather than wait through the drive through. Super kind & quick service!

This is the only location that I know of, and we have enjoyed their tacos for the last 20 years. They have a small dining area, but they have an ample menu with plenty of options to please everyone. Our favorite is the crispy tacos. Unlike other fast food Mexican food places, they don't charge you more for the tomatoes. They actually fill the taco shell with meat, lettuce cheese, and chopped tomatoes. The prices are very reasonable and they have good taco sauce. My only complaint is that they got rid of the salsa bar. I am assuming that was due to Covid. This is a Topeka treasure, so I hope that more people will try it. It's definitely better than some of the more expensive Mexican restaurants in Topeka. Plus, you get more food for your money. Great for a family on a budget!
The food was pretty good service was really good The atmosphere wasn't bad either and we go there The prices are decent I do suggest that they put more toppings on the food I had chili cheese burrito and it have very little chilly on it and I had some other things I have ordered and the toppings are just very little other than that they're good

Love Taco Tico & visit when traveling thru Topeka. The staff at 17th & Fairlawn were wonderful! I requested some enchiladas to go & they were so attentive. I sure wish we could get Taco Tico again in Salina.

We always stop by TT on our way to and from Wiichita. They are Consistently yummy good. One day a homeless man came in looking for a job and the supervisor that day (I wish I had her name)was very professional in having him complete an application I was touched by her holiday spirit. The service and food is always spectacular just as good as the stores in Wichita, Ks.
