In my experience, the clientele changes significantly based on the show, but I’ve had mostly positive experiences besides the occasional belligerent drunk that you’d find at any bar. “Service was friendly. They had a live band and were busy that Saturday night. They have a large outside yard that has a little Cowtown setup which was pretty neat. The best thing about this little bar was that they have a fire pit outside that burns wood and not natural gas or propane. That is 5 stars in my book any day!Parking lot parking is limited, so street parking it is, especially on live band nights.“

“Highly recommend the giant pretzel. Also loved the different take on a cinnamon roll. Breakfast burrito was spectacular as was the chicken and biscuit. Friendly staff and didn't have to wait long to be seated even on a Saturday at 11am. Second time here and I will definitely be back for more.“
“Always hang out here when I'm in town. Super chill, laid back, and everyone's friendly. Pool and music inside w a bar and cozy little booths and tables. Outside on the patio they have a big picnic table and several smaller tables for smoking and talking. They have good drink specials and the bartenders are amazing. Fun place to go if u just feel like hanging out and don't want to get all dressed up; it's cool bc here nobody cares about all that ha.“
“Jerry’s is an iconic local bar in Wichita. With live music every weekend, it attracts a predominantly older crowd, with cheap drinks to get your night started or to enjoy a night of dancing to mostly older songs. It’s great to grab a table with a group of friends to sing and dance the night away on the west side of town. Been here multiple times and I’ve never not felt safe there. “One of the best chicken fried steaks in Kansas. I had the bleu cheese steak salad (needed some veggies). The sirloin was cooked right - flavorful and tender. Try the mountain oysters - fried, fried, fried. Couple of old bulls in there, chewey - but tasted great.“

“I lived in Wichita for many years, and La Chinita was one of my favorite places. Having moved several years ago, we make it a point to visit when we are in the area. Although the restaurant has changed location and ownership, the food is still made with the same recipes and is still what I remember. Our favorites are the flautas, burritos, and Montereys (wife orders the Jr Special #1).Service was excellent, one of the owners came out to make sure everything was good. I don't get to Wichita very often now, but hope to get back to La Chinita!“

You'll miss it if you don't know it's there, but it one of the best places I've found in Wichita to sit down and have a casual drink at a good price. “in from texas visiting family. my brother recommended this place for everyone to meet and grab a bite. all i can say is, don’t judge this book by its cover. pulling up to the location, i questioned if we were in the right place based on my brothers comments about the food and atmosphere. we had a wonderful experience with everything. family friendly too. food and service was really great. we all ordered different appetizers and shared. it was nice to sample so many dishes.“
