“GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!!! I have been a loyal "Strips" conissieur since Todd opened his doors in Olathe. I've been to every other location, but tonight, I decided to try the newest one in Lenexa. Atmosphere was wonderful. Nintendo units at every booth was a hit with my daughter; and to me too(some of the games were from my childhood). The outside deck that wraps around the east side of the building is inviting. Love the lighting. Our wait time was what I expected for the meals we ordered. Service was excellent. Todd was there tonight and checked on us while we were waiting. We talked about a possible family connection from his past and my husband's and quickly turned to the topic of his new "star" of the show that he was debuting tomorrow night.....GLUTEN FREE FRIED ZUCCHINI! Say what?!!!! He went back into the kitchen and cooked us up a batch for a private tasting. Wowza! So good! You cannot find this anywhere else....you will always see fried okra; of which I can never have. But THIS.......this is gluten free and it's zucchini! I thanked him for bringing gluten free to the forefront of eating out. This fried chicken ya'll is THE BOMB! SERIOUSLY! Even if you do not need to eat GF, you need to try this and soon! You will not regret it! Don't forget the flourless chocolate cake ta boot!“

“Ok folks this place is awesome! The long wait is over. It sure didn't disappoint on the service and pub food. The food is outstanding. Hats off to the cook or cooks! The menu has excellent pub grub. Not bar food at all. Fresh and delicious. I had the Chili Cheese Dog. The dog was excellent and would love to know where they buy them! The chili was made from scratch! Best chili cheese dog I have eaten. The pizza come in all serving sizes and looked delicious. The bar staff is engaging and are actually happy to see you! My new spot!“

“This place is a hidden gem. Walking by it you would never guess this was inside! A great day sitting bar, regular takes and high tops. Service was the best part of it all and that says a lot! This was top two for Breaded Pork Tenderloins in my life! The meat was the perfect thickness, the breading was crispy and DID NOT TASTE LIKE FRYER OIL! The Sloppy Joe had a very good taste and spice! The Beer Battered Fries were very good as well.“

“This has to be one of the strangest bars I've ever been to, but I welcome it. A former funeral home, turned bar, it has a unique atmosphere. Yeah, it's cash only, but that's not a big deal. They have antique pinball machines and a good selection.“

“Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. They make their own moonshine, and it is DELICIOUS. Apple Pie and Peach are king (to be fair I didn't try the other 2), peach tastes like fresh peach nectar. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I popped in here before seeing a comedy show & T-Mobile Center not knowing anything about the place, and wow we loved it! The bartender Robin is so personable and good at what she does. The divey atmosphere had us feeling right at home. Not to mention, finding reasonably priced drinks downtown is practically unheard of! We ended up stopping back by after the show, and plan to come back any time we are in the area. Thank you Robin & Zoo Bar for a great experience!“
