“This is the epitome of a good dive bar. A little scary looking on the outside, but absolute gem on the inside. Grab a table at the back if you want to participate in karaoke, which happens every night at 8. We got there almost right at 8 on a Saturday night and had no trouble getting a table, but by 9:30 most of the seats were full. Drinks were priced great, and they had $2 jello shots as well.“

“today kyle and I stopped at rhe vag for a drink after walking along the river to view the fireworks. I was nervous about the 4th, as our current political situation is not favorable, and I didn't want to be around a ton of republicans. turns out, we had a great evening, and became well acquainted with some new friends. also some girl ordered an espresso martini. it looked pretty good but stay in your lane. this is a dive bar. get over yourself and order a mystery beer like everyone else.“

“We ordered the Reuben basket with chips and a pickle. I told our server we only needed one sandwich because we would split the meal due to our diabetes and calorie intake. She informed us that there would be a basket shared meal charge for $2.99 and we would get two baskets, two pickles and 2 chips with the 1/2 sandwich a piece. I told her that we couldn’t medically consume the extra chips and pickle and to just order one basket and we would eat off the one. Our server became visibly upset and walked off. Before we left, I apologized to her and told her that I understood she was just doing her job and it wasn’t her fault. I understand the economy and policies, but the customer should be able to purchase one basket and share without it being an issue over one pickle, bag of chips and an extra basket that is not needed! We no longer feel welcomed.“

“bar and kitchen is immaculate from what it used to be and the staff is pretty awesome they treat me and my friend very well always very friendly food is great the atmosphere is your classic bar and the drinks are great! 👍🍸🍺 🥃 pool tables and shuffle board are in nice shape and a great addition for friends and there's always some people around to play with 🎱 if you like to gamble there's some kiosks in there also seems like the staff likes to mix it up playing different music for everybody's taste you never know what you'll get great bar good times and the staff makes me feel safe if somebody gets out of hand“
