I moved year a little over a year ago and found this little spot close by to where I lived, so I decided to visit. Before the remodeled, it was a bit smaller, but still a fun place to hang out. They are doing kareoke every weekend, and it is a lot of fun to watch people sing. More than just that, the bartender (Jen) has always been welcoming, friendly, and great at her speed of service. One of my clients took me here for lunch had the homemade chicken fried Steak and mashed potatoes, green beans. And a piece of Texas toast. I thought I died and went to heaven. And the waitress was very sweet too. Made my day
I love this place. The food is fantastic, for great prices. I have NEVER had a bad or even mediocre meal here. The drinks and drink prices are good. Not a huge beer selection, but exactly what you'd expect from a small "dive" bar. Friday and Saturday they host karaoke starting about 9. You NEVER know how busy the place it going to be.
