Himalayan Sherpa Indian & Nepali Cuisine on north Amidon is a little gem of restaurant privately tucked away in the corner of an unsuspecting shopping center. The restaurant offers a huge menu selection, and the food is truly delicious. Guests describe the food as comfort food, with amazing flavor, food and variety. The garlic naan is delicious, and the lamb saag is the best saag ever had, with amazing lamb. The lamb biryani is enjoyable, and the samosas, chicken momo, butter chicken, lamb masala, chicken vindaloo, tandori chicken, garlic naan and garlic cheese naan are all fantastic. Portions are very generous and deadly, with many containers of leftovers to take home. The staff provide great hospitality and are genuinely pleasant even kind. Service is good and outstanding, and the food comes out fast and quickly, while still giving plenty of time to enjoy appetizers. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable and cozy. The restaurant is worth the wait for Indian food to return to the West side of town.
