Puerto El Triunfo

As someone that grew up eating authentic Puerto Rican cuisine I know it's incredibly difficult to find in Wichita. Although it's not Puerto Rican, the dishes here remind me so much of the food I grew up with. I love Salvadorian food and this place did not disappoint. Strangely, I was the only customer at around 6 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was a bit warm as I don't think they had the air conditioner going. I ordered fried chicken with sweet plantains. The chicken was crispy, but still juicy.
