And breakfast is the most reasonable in town and food quality is great. And the waitress was fun and efficient and made the meal enjoyable.
Fried chicken was amazing and the pies. Had the father's day buffet. Cucumber salad was also delicious. Everything else was not worth it. Roast beef was very very tough. Stuffing and turkey was good.

Spear's Restaurant & Pie Shop is a longtime local restaurant. The interior is a bit drab and antiquated, but the decor gives a Grandmother house feel. The utensils show the age of the restaurant. The pies are the best thing, with the Strawberry pie being Amazing and the crust Perfect. The Pumpkin cheesecake is the very best, and they even have a few sugar free options. Try their pumpkin bread. The food is good, with options like the Rueben, Patty Melt, Fried Okra, and Coconut Cream pie. Service can vary; one waitress was overwhelmed handling a reserved table for 30 people, but was impressive. Another visit noted very attentive staff, and if Shirley is the waitress, she provides an awesome experience.
