Jae’s is the kind of place a small town needs. It’s cozy and comfortable. The food is not fancy, but more like home cooking. It’s what one would expect in a small Kansas farm town. Breakfasts are excellent. The biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had. Portions are substantial. The pancakes are literally as big as the dinner plate. The food could be better, it's delicious but sometimes give me an upset stomach. The salad and chocolate cake on Fridays are delicious, and the service is nice and will joke around with you, overall a nice place to eat, and it's pretty cheap.
