“Lucky Star is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! The ingredients are always fresh and never tastes too salty. My Dr said I needed to eat lots of Broccoli so I get Roast Pork and Broccoli every week for my liver, which has helped so much over the past year. Joy and her family are wonderful and always welcoming. We love taking company there or getting take-out for our family gatherings. I highly recommend Lucky Star and encourage everyone to please support this local business. I don't know what I would do without it!”

“A great addition to Winfield and a welcome change from fast food. I ordered the Hibachi Steak which was ready in ten minutes. Flavorful, tender large pieces of steak and vegetables along with a generous portion of fried rice. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“They are great when the decide to open. Hours are inconsistent. Why not hire a back up cook or extra workers incase of an emergency? It would be nice to see more consistency in hours”

“The burgers are delicious and perfectly cooked!!! Fries are like McDonald's. I drove from Rose Hill to eat with my husband and it's so very good that I'll be coming back soon!
Orders are only taken by phone and you can only enter when your order is ready. They have 3 tables outside, so eating there is heavily dependent on the weather (windy, cold, raining, etc.). Most of the business is take- out. Saturday was perfect weather for eating outside enjoying a hot burger and fries. Also, no lettuce or tomato but they do grill the onions and you can grill jalapeños too! I highly recommend!!!”

“We had dinner and drinks on Friday evening. The service was impeccable (thank you Nikki) and the food was great. Highly recommend the catfish and jerk chicken. The fries and onion rings are homemade and were amazing! Definitely a hidden gem. We will return soon.”

“If you want to have a beer in a place where the crowd behaves themselves and there is a pool table and some pinball machines this is a great little bar for that. Friendly staff and patrons.”
