“They really do an excellent job setting the atmosphere for a nice dinner. The decor and the music are pleasant and inviting. The staff is friendly and they do an excellent job pacing the meal. The menu is large with so many delicious options. The soups are simple broth based soups and served hot. The salads are fresh. You never feel rushed and each course came out just as we were finishing the previous. The food was fresh and delicious. The sushi was amazing. Portions were plentiful. We felt welcomed and appreciated. They did an excellent job making sure we felt satisfied with our dinner. It was just nice to feel like a guest in a restaurant and not a customer, if you know what I mean. There was no hype or gimmick, just a nice dinner, in a nice place, served by nice people. I would definitely recommend Shogun and I will definitely go again.“

Our waitress, Trinity was the sweetest and just a complete bowl of sunshine. “Always great service when at Texas Roadhouse. This facility is very clean and presentable. All employees are personable and welcoming. Food is always on point and reasonably priced. One of the more reliable steak house chains in America, and definitely the most cost effective for a family. Great atmosphere....their dance moves could use some work! “I was a bit pessimistic coming here as I am a die hard TR fan. The decor and atmosphere screams rich suburban Dallas Texas and not the typical roadhouse San Antonio version. Ordered the ribs and was somewhat disappointed. While the flavor was good and the ribs were very tender, they were half cold and I suspect our rude waitress let them sit there for 10 minutes in the window. Steak was excellent, however, and very well seasoned with a minimal amount of salt and pepper as it should be. I did enjoy the fresh baked bread and the little tray it came on. Overall I would give it a solid 6/10 due to a combination of bad service and cold food.“
