You'll be begging for that to-go box because even a food junkie like me couldn't finish it all. This hidden gem 💎 of an African cuisine restaurant is worth every penny you pay for your meal, and then some.

The only thing I felt this restaurant had missing was some duck sauce or honey mustard (...so close to perfection! 🤌)

The food is unique enough to differentiate itself from many others. Bring your friends along some day, they'll probably appreciate it, too. 🙌“

The atmosphere was questionable. The outside looks a little run down, but it adds a charm to the meal. Tables mixed around the dining floor. Clean and better looking on the inside.

The service was fine. This is very authentic, so there is a small language barrier. It's okay because they will get your order right.

The food was amazing. As I mentioned, this place is very authentic. The beef pie was seasoned not for spice but for flavor. A small bowl accompanied the mini pies full of peppers and onions with season blend. Again, it's not spicy, just flavor.
There's no drink fountain. You get bottled water. I couldn't see what sodas they had.
The food came out steaming hot, and that was the only problem because I was too tempted to just jump in.

The Curry Chicken was rich and perfectly spiced, and the smoked Red Snapper was absolutely wonderful—flaky, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If the guys already there at a table didn’t yell back to the kitchen that a customer wanted to order, I might never have been treated to one of the finer meals I’ve had in a while. I ordered chapati with chicken meat. Two wonderful, thick chewy chapati, with basically like a chicken fajita plate, a bowl of greens, beans, corn, and carrots, and a lettuce, tomato, green bell pepper, lime salad plate, served with an unpeeled banana, and bottle of water. Couple hot sauce options. I was thinking it was a lot of food for the $12 on the menu. Indeed, the meal ended up being $16. We had some miscommunication, but he was patient and friendly enough; no big deal. Will return!“
