Waffle House in Louisville

“I ordered my go to ham-cheese-mushroom-onion omelet and it was a little overcooked. But then again it usually is no matter which waffle House I go to. Also I always order wheat toast and am always give white toast. I don't know why that is . . .“

“Working at a waffle house is a team effort and as usual the food was wonderful, the service was great. but.. our waffles were cold because of lack of communication. Between the cook and the server and our waffles sat while we ate and our waffles had to be remade but they were still delicious. but lime I said before waffle house is a team effort and that's NOT what I seen tonight.“

“Waffle House is one of my favorites, stop here all the time in the mornings before coming to work. This morning was truly special. The young lady sung a chorus of opera for me while it sent chills up my spine. It was beautiful and sincere. She had a standing ovation from the entire restaurant. Wish I knew her name. She was as beautiful as her voice. God Speed.“

“Placed and online pickup at 1145a my order was suppose to be ready by 1215p! Now when I walked in I saw that it was busy. When the lady (who was working on my order) asked if I was picking up I said yes. Told her my name. She said my ticket will be called second. It is now 1247pm. And then she asked what I was waiting for. Like I know you busy and all. But you need to call out names when pickup order is ready. Not just move on. As another lady waiting on her order as well. Not very happy.“

“Food was amazing! The guy cooking was amazing! He had to cook the food, run the food to our table, get us the condiments/napkins etc., we needed because the server was so high she was nodding out asleep the whole time and didn't pay any attention at all to us. Hope she gets the help she needs.“

“My wife called the order in, and when I got there to pick it up, it was ready. I was in and out in under a minute. Everything we ordered was in the bag, order was correct. The restaurant was crowded so carry out was a good option. The server was amazingly nice. The restaurant was clean. The parking lot was clear of snow and ice. I will definitely return.“

“Waffle House is hands-down the best breakfast in Mt Vernon. Probably lunch, too, but I just have breakfast food. The waitresses are so nice. Before long you will be a regular and the gals will know your preferences for your drinks. They are outstanding. Always clean. You don’t want to miss this experience!“

“I absolutely love their hashbrowns with extra cheese and onions! The server was really nice and helpful but the cook was the Rockstar this night! I am a vegetarian but they only have one grill so I asked the cook, Robert, if he would mind just scraping off the right side of the grill where they cook the hashbrowns so that no meat grease would get on my hashbrowns and if he would use clean spatulas too. He not only scraped the grill, he completely scraped and washed down the entire grill! It took him 10 to 15 minutes to clean the whole thing and I appreciated it so much that I tipped him the only 4 dollars I had in my wallet. I tipped the server4.00 on my card but I wanted to make sure Robert got his own tip. He did an amazing job making my two orders of hashbrowns for my daughter and myself, both vegetarians, and they were delicious! I was only out that way because I ordered something from the Home Depot out Westport Rd, I live in Hikes Point, but I would drive out of my way to go back after the awesome service I got. Not many places cater to vegetarians so when you find someone that does, you stick with them. I am not someone who is vegetarian for health reasons. I never liked meat or seafood. I haven't eaten either one since I was 15 and I'm now 65. I've lived a long vegetarian life in a meat eaters world. I have nothing against meat eaters, I just don't like it myself. I can't say enough how awesome it was to be catered to this way. Way to go Waffle House, especially Robert! I for one really appreciate you and would give 10 stars if I could! Don't lose Robert, he's awesome and deserves a raise! I will be back.“

“This was our first time eating at a Waffle House. The food was good and fairly cheap, the service was quick, the server was helpful in making suggestions (the chipotle sauce basically can go on anything), it was clean enough, and the security officer was very helpful and kind when we had a couple questions about the area.“

“We had another great Waffle House experience. We really try to find these while traveling to avoid eating hotel food. We love their made fresh right in front you model using top quality products. This store did not disappoint. It was clean and all of the staff were very friendly. It is close to the Louisville airport and easy to find using Google Maps with ample free parking.“
