“I came into kfc on 12-29-2022 and the cashier at the counter was very friendly and she took my order and made it quick and she asked me if I needed anything else and i was glad that she made sure I had everything i needed. Slim Chickens has officially become my go-to spot for cheat day — except it barely feels like cheating because the food is just that fresh and high-quality. Sure, I load up on the calories (because how could you not?), but the ingredients are clean, the portions are generous, and I never walk away feeling gross or regretful.
Let’s talk sauce: their signature sauce, buffalo, and hot options are straight-up addictive. I could dunk pretty much anything in them and be happy — fries, tenders, napkins, whatever. And the mac and cheese? Easily some of the best in the area, and trust me, this town doesn’t play around when it comes to mac and cheese.
Service is always solid, food comes out hot, and I leave full and satisfied every time. If you haven’t tried Slim’s yet, you’re missing out. Cheat day or not, it hits every time.“
