Located at 370 Diederich Blvd, Ashland, KY 41101. Kroger is my go-to grocery here and there are a handful in the Tri-State area. Friendly service and well stocked. Store is in decent condition and kept clean. Parking lot can be challenging to navigate at times but always well stocked.

I drove down to the Ashland area from Cincinnati & was looking for gas, so naturally, I stopped at Kroger. While inside, I joked to myself that I was visiting from the home office, since Kroger is based in Cincinnati. (They can't all be winners, folks.)Anyway, I wasn't looking for anything in particular, as I was still a couple hours from home, but I grabbed a Dr. Pepper for the drive. I used the self checkout, so I didn't really interact with anyone, but I was in & out pretty quickly.

Had London broil on sale buy 1get one. Searched the meat cases could not find any. Noticed a male employee leaned against a cooler watching another employee resetting an end cap. Neither offered assistance as I was walking towards them to ask about the sale they both walked up an aisle. Went to the meat department, rang bell waited several minutes. A young man came out walked the entire meat department, returned to the back spoke to someone, came back and said they were out. The gentleman that had earlier walked away returned to the meat counter spoke to the meat department employee. I overheard the employee call him Mr Tanner. This was the store manager!! He clearly saw me searching the meat cases and totally ignored me. Later I found out I could have gotten a rain check but was never offered one. I have heard a bag girl curse a cashier using language that would make a sailor blush. Have had an older cashier be so rude it was embarrassing. Now I know why they do it. Store managers are either hiding in other departments or in their offices. There have been some very good employee at this store but now understand why they are leaving daily

We purchased a hot rotisserie chicken yesterday at Kroger in Russell Kentucky. We proceeded to cut it up as soon as we got home, much to our disgust it had dead maggots on the carcass. I’ve tried to call the manager and customer service repeatedly, they either pick up and hang up, or don’t answer at all. We purchase a couple of these a month and do all of our shopping at Kroger. With this kind of customer service that may change.

My daughter and I went to kroger this Thursday, March 31st around 4:30-5. We used self check-out as we always do but this time it was special. The gentleman working the self check-out(white, mid 40's, tan, tall) made our entire day! My daughter does not enjoy grocery shopping but he made it a memory for her! He was extremely kind. He told my daughter that she had done a great job helping me scan the items, gave her stickers(which she LOVED!) told us to have a blessed day and thanked us for visiting korger. He said a handful of other kind things that I can't remember. We both left with the biggest smiles on our faces because of the kindness he showed us! I believe he way me be a newer employee. I truly hope this man gets recognition from Russell Kroger because he embodied what it means to be a good employee and an even better human. Whoever you are, thank you for making our day so bright!!

Even with the looming ice storm, the stock running low, a team member named Gloria Williams stepped up! She isn’t a cashier but she manned a line to help thin the customers out!

Went to Kroger in Ashland the other day an got my change back, went there today an my amount was $195.86 an the cashier stated I don't have change in my drawer, I told her that it is ILLEGAL to not give my change back, cashier stated, I can put it on a card for you... Now mind you, it was only .14 cents, however, I kept repeating myself ITS ILLEGAL TO NOT GIVE MY CHANGE BACK... the cashier had a dime in the drawer an took 4 pennies out of her OWN pocket. KROGER YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! Some people are trying to get out of dept in this God forsaken world an your not making it any better on anyone by trying to go cashless! Waitresses, cosmetologists, etc depend on cash for daily living. I stoped goin to Walmart, guess need to stop shopping Kroger as well... Go to locally owned grocery store at least I get my money back! KROGER IT IS ILLEGAL TO NOT PUT MONEY AKA CHANGE IN YOUR EMPLOYEES DRAWERS FOR THEM TO PERFORM THEIR JOB DUTIES, AN TAKE PEOPLES CHANGE! Yes, I was offered for it to go on a card, but it's MY CHOICE! I want my change!!!!
