While staying in Ashland, my boyfriend and I decided to take a chance on Sonora, based on the good reviews and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive. We chose to sit on the patio, which was the perfect setting for a beautiful evening. But the real highlight was the food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and made with care. It's safe to say we had an amazing experience and a great meal....
First off their patio is dog friendly. That’s already a plus. However, their service was great in general. Opened the patio for us, and came out in a timely manner each time they checked on us. Great staff! Will be back!
Food was a mix. The steak was phenomenal and best I have ever had at this type of restaurant. The ground need was flavorless and not great. Needs a seasoning other than just salt in it. The Relleno was extremely disappointing this are my constant favorite. They didn't even put any meat into the the paper flavor was of in a strange way not like a normal pablano. The breading was so thick it felt like a strange textured pancake. I say breading but it supposed to be whipped...
