Soup in Ashland

“We stopped by while shopping in the mall! Great host stand and wonderful bar staff! We had a glass of wine in front of us in a jiffy! She smiled the whole time and just really made us feel at home. We drove from Charleston to get out of town and this was a Perfect day date for us! We had Calamari for an appetizer with a few glasses of noir and Grigio. Enjoyed a three layer chocolate mousse before spending more time in the mall! A great stop off the interstate -with gasoline and hotels nearby! Safe and clean. We look forward to coming back!“

“So we came for my husbands’s birthday. The service was wonderful, everyone is incredibly friendly. When it came time to order food I will say this. The soup was amazing. Unfortunately the fish and chips was inedible. I don’t want to place blame. I understand it’s sometimes difficult to acquire fresh fish and to hand batter said fish. Having said that if it were my restaurant I would take fish and chips off the menu if I was unable to produce a pub staple. I’ll say this. Order the Celtic knot, the bangers and mash and the Boston cream pie, and you’ll be more than satisfied.“
