“Wow! Wow! Wee! Wow! This has to be the best restaurant south of the Mason-Dixon Line. The welcoming hospitality factor is evident the second you open the door. The servers are just the kindest and absolutely exude pure joy. Lexi took care of us like we were family.
They have Soup Beans like my Mamaw made. So good. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. It come with the onions. The cornbread isn't overloaded with sugar. So good! I asked for more. They have the best coleslaw. They have Mandarin Orange Salad! It tastes right out of the Mamaw's church cookbook.
Shock of all shocks! They serve pineapple upside-down cake the right way! Who does that.
The portions are ample. The place is lickety clean.
This was well worth the side trip off the highway over and over again.
