Told nuggets would be a wait, no big deal. Location wasn’t that busy. Pulled forward. Didn’t think the wait would be 26 minutes, was the rest of the order fresh? Absolutely not. Chicken sandwich most likely sat in a bag with the sides that are also cold. Chicken sandwich had the texture of a sponge and was inedible.Parking: Drive thru lane condition is one of the worst in the state. Bad flow and exit
Bottom of the chicken had been sitting in grease so long that one thigh could soak through two to three napkins. Since they don't do buffet anymore I'm guessing not many people come inside, because they don't pay much attention to the inside. Be it customers or the general state of the interior. Multiple water leaks soaking through the ceiling tiles. The chicken was still tasty and juicy, though the mac and cheese was watery.

I don’t think it’s the employees but KFC has lost it’s quality. Overpriced mediocre food that is soggy as soon as it cools off. I ate at several different KFC’s and all same awful food. Chicken strips had flour on them and chicken wasn’t even cooked all the way, my kid had stomach ache afterwards. Food is overpriced, I recommend using app to order food you get much better deals and discount. Barbourville location staff is super friendly but food needs upgrades.
