Stopped in for lunch. We were the only people in the restaurant. Ordered the cheese bread and baked ziti. Cheese bread looked and tasted like Walmart brand premade pizza crust with microwaved mozzarella cheese on top. Baked ziti was mostly all pizza sauce. Gordon Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares needs to come here.

I gave them one star because they were open. Ordered carry out and the calzone was WRONG. Salad was small, fettuccini was ok. Phone lines don’t work to order carry out. Understaffed although the person working did what she could do. Out of ravioli and no Italian sausage. Won’t go back!

The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. The server was friendly and attentive. The food was quite disappointing, though. We started with bruschetta. While the presentation was nice, the bruschetta was overly salty. My husband ordered sausage and peppers over Rigatoni. The meats were plentiful but not what we expected. The sausage was more of a smoked sausage as opposed to Italian sausage. I ordered chicken parmesan. It was covered with so much sauce that I had to dig for the meat. The chicken was bland and soggy. If we return, we would stick to pizza.

The lack of cars in the parking lot should have been the sign for us to find somewhere else to eat. We were the only two dinners, and the service was slow. They never came by to check on us. I had to go find our waitress for a refill on my ice tea. She was preoccupied playing on her phone, shocking, lol. 2 of the 3 calizones we ordered were not what we ordered. Mind you, we were the only customers, so I doubt they were overwhelmed in the kitchen. And they were awful. I'm not sure how they have 4.1 stars because that's the only reason I gave them a chance. Cannot recommend by my experience.

Very good food. I always eat too much, plus I have some left to take home.

Disappointed. Service was slow. Complementary bread was hard and dry. I ordered Italian sausage with peppers and onions over penne pasta. What came out was summer sausage, because they were apparently out of Italian sausage. I asked for Parmesan cheese and they were out of that too. How can an Italian restaurant be out of Parmesan cheese???

In all honesty....not that good. The caccitori wasn't bad....but my wife's dish left much to be desired. I'll not go into detail OTHER than if you have a dish that's advertised to contain Italian sausage.....the make dang certain Italian sausage IS an ingredient....no some cheap filler sausage like meat. There are those of us who know the difference.

My first time ordering from this restaurant on door dash was amazing! The second time not so much. The pizza came stuck to the pan which was never removed, they just put the whole thing in the pizza box, pan and all. So disappointing!

You have to endure a couple less desirable meals in order to appreciate a good one. This would be the former rather than the latter. So, if you are from out of town, like we were and looking on Yelp for a place to eat in Bardstown, my advice is to skip this "Italian" spot. The friendly service and clean restrooms couldn't even raise the star value. The complimentary bread was like eating a tasteless cracker. The Italian cheese bread is basically a cheese pizza without the sauce. My manicotti was mediocre and drowned in an overload of a less than mediocre marinara and topped sparsely with mozzarella. My mate had the tour of Italy. The comment was, "This is supposed to be Italian food"? He also said his coke tasted watered down. This place must be surviving on unaware tourists on the bourbon trail.

We enjoyed a nice meal here. The staff was attentive and friendly. We were happy that with so many other restaurants closed on Sunday that these folks were open. Would definitely go back.

Ordered what was supposed to be Lasagna....got a bowl of tomato sauce with noodles & ground beef. Sent it back and ordered meat calzone, was under cooked and very little meat. Service was very slow, they weren't busy. We will not eat there again!

Food was just ok. Out of several items( caprese salad) and meat ravioli. Breadsticks would break your teeth. Mozzarella sticks were cold. Not impressed. Our party of 4 were dissapointed. One of our party waited 5 minutes for their calzone to be delivered after the rest of received ours.
