Food took forever to be served. Pork chop was dry. Brussel sprouts not roasted enough. Risotto was too mushy. Fried chicken should have been plated on a platter and not jammed into a bowl. Biscuit was too doughy and not cooked.

Incredible experience! From the crab cakes to the bone-in pork chop to the bread pudding and everything in between, my family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The unique character of the dining room alone makes this a must-visit destination, but the food takes it to another level—absolutely outstanding and paired with impeccable service. I've never left a review for a restaurant but felt like I needed to let the public know. Let me first start by saying the pictures of the food on the menu looked amazing! We ordered the deviled eggs as our starter. When the waitress brought them to our table, my eagerness went away as they looked nothing like the pictures. They were bland and not fried so I tried to stay optimistic for our entrees. Well, that went out the window when our food arrived. This place must have lost their head chef!!!! Whoever is the new chef needs to update the pics of their food instead of the past chefs food!!! My dads burger patty was as small as a white castle burger although the pic on the menu was HUGE. My wife's brisket tacos had a funny taste as it seemed like the meat was old. My daughters crab cakes weren't homemade as they tasted like it came right out the freezer. My gnocchi ragu, well, I took 3 bites and pushed it away. I felt like I had been catfished😢🫢😮💨this was the worst birthday dinner ever. We left and went to McDonald's down the road after dropping $100.

Fantastic experience. Fried chicken was expertly prepared. Extra crispy and tender. Not greasy at all. Cornbread was light and fluffy. Can’t wait to go back.
Cocktails and food were good; Featured Old Fashion and Granddad is smashed with Bison Meatloaf and Mac and cheese for dinner. The Fire Bread was a really nice treat and our server Amy was an absolute treasure; so sweet and took excellent care of us.

Aimee was our server and she was excellent. She was very attentive and helpful. The food was outstanding. Mac n cheese with brisket was a cant miss. Had the fried chicken but the sweet corn relish stole the show of the plate.

Great dinner in bardstown. Very nice cottage turned into a reataurant. Our server, Amy, was very helpful in pointing us toward the right dishes for our tastes. The brisket was excellent as well as the porterhouse steak special this evening. The burrata salad was delicious as well.
