What a neighborhood gem! Had a wonderful romantic dinner date. Food and service was excellent as was the ambiance and music. I highly recommend!
This place is a hidden gem! Everyone needs to check it out. Their food menu is delicious and we had trouble choosing. Ended up with the country ham and pimento cheese hush puppies as a starter, which were amazing. For dinner we had the tavern burger and a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese absolutely melted in your mouth. I dipped the chips from my burger in the cheese sauce as well. Absolutely incredible. The cocktails were a wonderful treat as well. My coffee drink was smooth and warming, and one bartender made a perfect manhattan. Will absolutely return! Parking was a little limited, but otherwise great time!
Amanda is a phenomenal server. Great food, great ambiance. 5 stars across the board compliments to the chef and staff!

We ordered NY strip steak as a chef recommendation. The meat was served hardly cooked and cold. The side mushrooms were cold as well. The potatoes were mushy and not tasty. We sent the meat back for additional cooking and was sent slightly more cooked but the cut was tough and lacked good flavor. The mushroom sauce was bland and not tasty. No attempt was made to make it up to us, we left disappointed since the place seemed like a charming place.
Autumn our Server was Amazing & the food was delicious! As a matter of fact, I wish I could have some more of those Fish Bites right now. They were flavorful & Scrumptious! My Husband REALLY ENJOYED Celebrating his Birthday at Toogie's Table. We will DEFINITELY be returning to this restaurant when visiting Bardstown, KY!!!
Out of multiple items. Slow service. Didn't receive items requested. We took guests from out of town after having a good experience previously and were very disappointed.
During our visit to Bardstown over the New Year holiday weekend, we ate at Toogies Table. It was very disappointing. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and what I think was supposed to be roasted vegetables, but was a pureed black-eyed peas. The whole dish was cold. The tomato sauce over the meatloaf was crusty and dried. My husband got the new york strip steak and it was covered in so much heavy mushroom gravy you couldn't tell what you were eating. It was a waste of money.
Great food. Extremely slow service for a not super busy night. The menu is limited but has a variety. The Gnocchi was amazing however, I wish there was a protein option to add. The crab cakes were very flavorful and had a great remoulade sauce. Our waitress was nice and friendly but overall took a long time. Enjoyed our meal and will go back
We had an excellent experience, the food was fantastic and the holiday drinks were delicious. Our waitress Autumn was great! We will absolutely be back! Thank you for helping us celebrate our anniversary it was the perfect quiet atmosphere we were looking for!

Was just there, catfish starter was good. The steak was cold, tough and couldn't even cut it, I had to pull what little I ate with my fingers. The potatoes were also cold. First time there and likely the last. The waitress was awesome, wish the food had of been!

We love Amy! Fantastic service and a warm smile. The salmon and gnocchi are both excellent and cooked to perfection.
Zach looooved the cornbread muffins, couldn’t get enough.

Great location in Bardstown. Warm and welcoming interior. Aimee made our experience special. She shared the history of the restaurant and answered all my questions. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu, making good recommendations for us. Great Old Fashioned cocktails, delicious salmon dinner... and yes, we gave in to the bourbon bread pudding for dessert. This was our first visit, but won't be our last.
