We were upstairs at the bar and had such a great time!
Taylor was our bartender/server and she was so fun and made the best drinks! She gave my husband and I a celebratory dessert for my husband’s birthday, which was the reason we were in town from Wisconsin.

Great food & cocktails. Great atmosphere and music. Would love to come back next time we do our next Bourbon Trail trip!

This is our favorite fancy place in town. Southern charm here is a "glow" for us. The food is so tasty and really fun down to earth community. The bar is also really awesome upstairs.

Our server Taylor was phenomenal also!

BEST service in Bardstown. Amy was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect dinner experience. The fried chicken was great. Loved the corn bread and crab cakes. And the salmon dip is such a fun crudité dish. This is the best restaurant in town

I wanted to like this place. I really did. But, the food did not live up to my expectations. The cornbread that they brought out was cold and under cooked. I ordered the burger and fries and it was ok but I've had way better. My husband ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and vegetables. He said it was very bland and just didn't taste good. I couldn't tell what it was because, the food was completely covered in gravy. We couldn't/didn’t want to finish our meal so we asked for to go boxes that went in the trash when we got home. I gave 2 stars because our server was very nice and pleasant. Maybe it was just a bad night but the restaurant wasn't crowded. I doubt we will be back. Sorry.

Wow wow wow ! Some of the best service and food I’ve had in Bardstown. Aimee is so kind, thoughtful and on top of it. Will definitely be back just for her! (The food doesn’t hurt ;))

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toogie's Table, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the evening was filled with delicious food, expertly crafted cocktails, and outstanding service. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
To kick off our meal, we ordered a selection of cocktails: the Black Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, and the Basil Gimlet. Each one was beautifully executed, showcasing the bartender’s skill. The Black Manhattan had a bold and smooth flavor profile, the Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced, and the Basil Gimlet was refreshing with a delightful herbal twist. However, one minor quibble was the use of maraschino cherries instead of the higher-quality Luxardo cherries, which are typically used in these classic drinks. While the drinks were fantastic overall, this small substitution was a slight disappointment for those of us who appreciate the finer details.
We started with the Kentucky Country Ham Fritters, which were a true treat. The fritters themselves were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, but the accompanying sauce could have been more generous to balance the richness of the fritters. Still, they were a delicious appetizer.
Next, the Deviled Eggs were a unique and delightful twist on a classic. The crispy egg whites added an unexpected crunch, and the pickle garnish on top was a surprising but excellent finishing touch, giving the dish a wonderful contrast of flavors and textures. It was a new experience I won't forget.
Our server recommended the salmon, and I’m so glad we followed the suggestion. It was absolutely amazing. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the kimchi paired with it was a bold and flavorful addition that really elevated the dish. The flavors were harmoniously balanced, and it was a standout of the evening.
The cod, while also good, was a bit too heavy on the broth for my liking, but the fish itself was tender and flavorful. Despite the excess broth, it was still an enjoyable dish.
We also tried the fried chicken, brisket, and mac and cheese. Each of these dishes was satisfying in its own right. The fried chicken had a crisp, well-seasoned crust, while the brisket was tender and rich. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, a perfect side to complement the hearty mains.
To enhance our dining experience, Taylor, our server, recommended a flight of Old St. Nick Bourbon. It was an excellent choice and offered a smooth, flavorful journey through some exceptional bourbons. It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the local spirit and enjoy the moment.
As the meal came to a close, our server surprised us with a birthday treat for a friend celebrating their 50th. The bread pudding, served with a decadent caramel sauce, was the showstopper of the evening. The warm dessert was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. To top it off, the server placed a sparkling candle in the dessert, which added a beautiful touch to the celebration.
The service was impeccable. Our server, Taylor, was attentive without being overbearing. She was knowledgeable about the menu and provided fantastic recommendations, making our experience even more memorable. Her thoughtful gesture with the birthday surprise truly made the evening feel special.
Overall, Toogie's Table is a must-visit. The food, drinks, and service come together to create a dining experience worth every penny. Whether you're visiting for a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to Kentucky to explore the bourbon trail, and we look forward to seeing Taylor again. Toogie's Table is absolutely worth the stop.

We started with the beef and vegetable stew, which was nothing short of delicious. It was warm, hearty, and packed with flavor—perfect for a chilly evening. Then came the Caprese salad, and let me tell you, the burrata cheese was heavenly. It was so creamy and rich, making the whole dish just burst with goodness.

The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, though it was a tad darker than I typically prefer, but still, it hit the spot. The brisket, on the other hand, was spot-on—tender and juicy, just the way I like it.

A standout for me was the salmon dip. Our server, Taylor, recommended it, and I’m so glad she did—it was amazing! Definitely a dish to try. Speaking of Taylor, she was fantastic throughout the meal. Her descriptions of the menu items were so detailed and enthusiastic that it made it hard to pass up any of the options. You could tell she really knew the menu inside and out, and her recommendations were spot on.

The "Grand Dad’s Smashed" cocktail was another highlight—absolutely wonderful, with the perfect balance of flavors. And the fact that Taylor made the drink herself just added to the personal touch of the service.

Throughout the entire meal, Taylor was incredibly attentive, always wearing a smile, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her excellent service truly elevated our experience.

I’ll definitely be returning to Toogie’s Table again. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it!

No Parking. Food was horribly salty. They are short staffed to the point 1 waitress is running around, trying her best to accommodate the upstairs tables. The salmon dip was great and our waitress was awesome. Entrée and parking was terrible

We got the Alderwood smoke salmon dip appetizer, that was good. My husband ordered the bison meatloaf and I ordered the brisket. The kitchen lost our ticket. When we got our food it was smothered in brown gravy and it was so salty we couldn't eat it. The food was horrible.
