Discovered this gem on our way back to Illinois. Service was wonderful and food was to die for. Everything you could want in a small town southern diner. Looking forward to going back.
Carol's restaurant in Bardwell Tennessee is top-notch. outside of a little side I from the local it was awesome do not pass on dessert. They're open Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. closed on Saturday Sunday open 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Really nice staff. Simple, comfortable. Food beats hell out of big chain places. I’ll go again when I’m in the area.Parking: Gravel. Well graded with the required small puddles here and there.
