“Godfather’s pizza has excellent tangy pizza sauce! They put plenty of toppings and the pizza crust is delish! I had never had Godfather’s pizza and was needing a quick bite while traveling. Thankfully, they had ready made pizzas and I got a small one. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little dry as you might expect with a ready made, but i was blown away by the great ROBUST flavor. Needless to say, I came back to try a freshly made pizza and was not disappointed! SO good. Godfather’s is now my go to pizza. So glad they’re in my area! The price is great, too!”

“I can't give 5 stars for every local business I frequent and I'd generally drop a star for a coffee shop that primarily provides coffee drinks using flavored artificial syrups rather than fresh ingredients. However, the individualized customer service and congeniality I regularly receive at 4th Street more than makes up for it. In rural western Kentucky, we're often at a loss for many of the luxuries found in larger cities. As such, 4th Street Coffee Company is a godsend for caffeine addicts in our area. I'm delighted to continue giving them my business and hope to do so for years to come. The current special, "Smooth Kentucky Sunset," is a sweet summer treat when ordered cold. "Towboat," is likely the best syrup-based hot coffee blend I've had in years.”

“Canoeing down the Mississippi river and we're exhausted from the hot August sun. Stopped in to a small diner and had our minds blown away by the quality and flavor. Top notch breakfast with what seemed like five eggs scrambled, fluffy and light but buttery and immensely filling at the same time. The sausage was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, a lite snap but delicate and soft on the inside. Peppered just enough for a tang, but not overpowering. Toast was perfectly cooked with a crisp light brown cook, and remained soft the entire meal because of the wonderfully warmed jelly and another good serving of butter. Best breakfast I've personally had in yearsStopped again for lunch and again again the cooking was reminiscent of home with outstanding flavor and again, a hefty helping of calories. I can't say enough how much I love the food here. The service is friendly and goes above and beyond and to top it all off the prices range from $4.50 to $8.00 at the time of writing this. Jens place notoriously undercharges for the quality of food served here, the food is obviously made with love and care and it shows through on every aspect of the wonderfully quaint and inviting restaurant.Nothing about Jens place will leave you wanting, easily a 10/10 experience. From corner market diner's to high end steakhouses, I've been a chef for 17 years and considered myself pretty darned good, but "Jen's Place" just put me in my place.”

“While traveling in the area (Paducah and Wycliffe) for work I found this gem. Been eating Texas BBQ for 50 years but Hillbilly BBQ was a great introduction to a different style that has a great taste. Expanding my food horizons. Great BBQ sauce that I’ve finally found close equivalent in Houston (OG Sauce). Once I shipped 8 bottles back home to Houston because I liked it so much. Thanks Kentucky!”

“I just wanted to give a shout out to Mi Rancho. Your food is amazing and affordable and the service is great and prompt. I was there today and witnessed, two quite rude women, if you are reading this post i hope, communication is so very important from you both of you. One older woman waited till she got to the counter to pay to say something about her meal which the cashier even asked her, why didnt you say something we will make it right, and the other woman in green and black with her large to go order either was confusing to the cashier when odering her food which the cashier was very willing to make it right, to this rude woman who had absolutely no patience and treated the cashier like crap. The cashier even apologized while this rude woman said nothing. Have some patience for God sake and communicate with others they are busy and under staffed, dont be rude.”
