“I can't give 5 stars for every local business I frequent and I'd generally drop a star for a coffee shop that primarily provides coffee drinks using flavored artificial syrups rather than fresh ingredients. However, the individualized customer service and congeniality I regularly receive at 4th Street more than makes up for it. In rural western Kentucky, we're often at a loss for many of the luxuries found in larger cities. As such, 4th Street Coffee Company is a godsend for caffeine addicts in our area. I'm delighted to continue giving them my business and hope to do so for years to come. The current special, "Smooth Kentucky Sunset," is a sweet summer treat when ordered cold. "Towboat," is likely the best syrup-based hot coffee blend I've had in years.”

“While traveling in the area (Paducah and Wycliffe) for work I found this gem. Been eating Texas BBQ for 50 years but Hillbilly BBQ was a great introduction to a different style that has a great taste. Expanding my food horizons. Great BBQ sauce that I’ve finally found close equivalent in Houston (OG Sauce). Once I shipped 8 bottles back home to Houston because I liked it so much. Thanks Kentucky!”

“Me and my mom went for lunch we ordered wings with the sauce on the side. Food was cooked fresh as always and in a decent time! Romello was very nice with great customer service. When we left we ate in that chicken with no sauce cause it was so good without it but even better with it! I definitely recommend everyone to stop and eat here!”

“This is by far my most favorite bbq joint in Kentucky.. it's close to my home.. the food is always ready and warm when we pick it up.. it's the one and only place I know that my ribs are cooked to perfection.. wether your a local or just passing through stop by Smokey D's you will not regret it.”

“I’ve used their catering services a few times, and it is PERFECT every time. They are great with client communication, and the attendees always brag on how delicious the food is. I never have to worry about the presentation of the food either because the ladies make the table beautiful every time. There are so many great meat and side options - not to mention desserts! And the best part is how reasonably priced they are. Hands down the best caterers in our area!”

“Very good and friendly table service. Most consistently good food we've found in the county so far. There is something almost every trip unfortunately but welcome to Ballard County. My French toast a couple weeks back wasn't quite saturated with the eggs so it was more like bread and syrup. The beans with yesterday's lunch were barely warm. They offer margarine but not butter. No non dairy creamer. But again consistent hot fresh food.”

“Godfather’s pizza has excellent tangy pizza sauce! They put plenty of toppings and the pizza crust is delish! I had never had Godfather’s pizza and was needing a quick bite while traveling. Thankfully, they had ready made pizzas and I got a small one. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little dry as you might expect with a ready made, but i was blown away by the great ROBUST flavor. Needless to say, I came back to try a freshly made pizza and was not disappointed! SO good. Godfather’s is now my go to pizza. So glad they’re in my area! The price is great, too!”
