Family-run and a blast from the past, and it certainly feels like it. The place probably hasn't been seriously updated since at least the 1980s - but that's also part of the charm. The candy assortment continues to surprise me every time I go in there - brittle, buckeyes, etc. The ice cream selection isn't super complicated, but does come with some interesting (very "Midwestern") flavors such as German chocolate cake. Wonka would be proud of the delectable desserts at Schneider's Sweet Shop. My family and I love all the desserts we have had there, but I particularly recommend the Peanut Butter ice cream in a waffle cone.
