Restaurants near Betsy Layne

“1st time I've been there despite passing through town over the last few years. Good food, great prices and friendly people. Definitely will stop again. Better than fast food options! Glad you are in town! They did accept my bank card so I'm guessing they are no longer strictly cash as others mentioned. It is outside dining only....think fast food Dairy Queen....no inside seating.”

“love there pizza and you cant get unlimited toppings”

“Their food is usually very good! The buffet is nice and the pizza seems to be the quality of their regular pizza, which is pretty good. The inside of the new restaurant is nice. They've done a good job with it. My biggest concern and complaint is that the food prices are relatively high. They were high at the previous location and continue to be here. They provide rolls of paper towels for the dining room, which is fine. However, what's not fine is that, when I was there the other day, most of the tables did not have a roll available. We had to remove one from another table. As another reviewer said, the buffet didn't have the dessert bar available. It did previously, which was also a dinner buffet.”

“Best burgers!💗 Highly recommend!”

“We love the restaurant and staff. Been coming here for years.”

“Eaten there several times. Food is great and place is clean and service is good. Nice friendly staff.”

“My son and I ate there for the first time today, it was fantastic. I got the tikka masala and he got the butter chicken and 2 orders of garlic naan to share. It was our first time having Indian food and it left a great impression. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Love these hotdogs! The chili is the best I’ve eaten and they’re always freshly made as you wait. Decent price too.”

“My husband and I drive an hour & half just to eat at this particular mexican restaurant. Its the best Mexican I've ever had & I've had ALOT! The staff are super friendly & attentive. The food has always been absolutely delicious & always hot! THE BEST! Theres a Mexican place in my town 5 minutes away & we still drive to pikeville for this one cause it's that awesome!”

“The best REAL ice cream in the area, and by far the largest selection. Family friendly, affordable, and awesome staff. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“While I can’t speak specifically to the experience one might have dining in (we are from out town and haven’t dined in), I can say that if it is anything like the service we received with our catering order for my baby shower, it must be outstanding. I can’t speak highly enough of this place regarding our order today. We ordered a taco bar for 25 people and the price just couldn’t be beat. It included meat, rice, toppings, salsa, sour cream, cheese, and tortillas. They even put plates, forks, and serving spoons in a bag for us. The servers also helped my husband carry everything out to the car to load it. Everyone bragged about the food and it was really good. They made feeding 25 simple and tasty. Thank you all!”

“Disappointed in paying over $60 for a $20 cake from Sam's club. baffling, especially when advertised as home made.”

“Great place for friends and family to gather for tasty food pair with perfect wine. Definitely 5 Stars in my book ... don't take my word for it... you got to see it to believe it is awesome”

“It is a great place to go for coffee, tea, and protein shakes! Super friendly staff, relaxing environment. It is my go-to place for my favorite tea, Strawberry Creme, which is amazing and a must-try if you like teas!”

“Love having a Subway in my hometown. Don't too fond of the prices.. I personally think they are a little high and seem to keep rising. I used to eat here all the time but like I said, prices keep going up, so I'm there less. Subway is one of my favorites. Also love the feature to order online and can pick it up with hardly no wait at all!”

“Food was good, lady at window had the worst attitude ever!! After being a smart butt about what I ordered she never even wrote it down.”

“Though not the fanciest looking building, it was great! We're on a trip from Va & was looking for good home cooking & it was just that! Very friendly place & the price couldn't be beat!”

“To whomever owns this place... these workers deserve tips!! Please set up your POS system or allow a tip bucket up front. It is incentives, they do great, and they deserve it. If this is a corporate thing to not allow tips, shame on you. I've been in the industry for 20 years and survived on tips. TIPS TIPS TIPS!!!”
