Restaurants near Allen City

“They have the best Papa John's pizza that I've had at any Papa John's. They put a perfect amount of sauce on it. They have it going all the way to the crust so that you're not getting drier and drier pizza as you head out to the crust like most pizza. I'll even say those last bites of the pizza are just as good as the first bite from the center. It's ready quick and it's piping hot. You can even dine in with the large number of booths and tables provided by Double Kwik.”

“I stop by many days on lunch, and the workers are always polite and friendly. The sandwiches are always delicious, and cookies are always fresh. Everything is always clean, there's nothing more you could want. I highly recommend!”

“We had podiatry appointments yesterday in Pikeville and we didn’t know what we were wanting to get for food on the way back home. We were thinking about going to Applebees but we noticed a couple Hotrod pizza restaurants had been opened up and the only one that we had ever been to was close by the Alice Lloyd college so since we liked it we decided we would have our dinner date at the Hotrods restaurant in Betsy lane and once again we were satisfied! We had a salad while we were waiting for our order to be finished and when it was they brought it out to us and it was delicious and made so perfect. Just the right amount of everything and had great service.”

“Best burgers!💗 Highly recommend!”

“My son and I ate there for the first time today, it was fantastic. I got the tikka masala and he got the butter chicken and 2 orders of garlic naan to share. It was our first time having Indian food and it left a great impression. We’ll definitely be back.”

“The best REAL ice cream in the area, and by far the largest selection. Family friendly, affordable, and awesome staff. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Absolutely delicious pizza! If you’ve not tried Garrett Fountain , you’re missing out! Thank you guys!”

“My husband and I first time trying and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! Friendly employees, will definitely be back!”

“best sushi in town no contest, I could probably keep them in business myself from all the Philadelphia rolls I order, only downside and this is just a matter of opinion I would say is when eating in the music they play isn't the best it's usually loud new country music so if your not into that earbuds are your friend the environment is really clean and nice to eat in other than that”

“1st time I've been there despite passing through town over the last few years. Good food, great prices and friendly people. Definitely will stop again. Better than fast food options! Glad you are in town! They did accept my bank card so I'm guessing they are no longer strictly cash as others mentioned. It is outside dining only....think fast food Dairy Queen....no inside seating.”

“A very quaint small restaurant by the county airport. Picturesque setting atop the mountain. The restaurant appears well kept and clean. Server was efficient and polite. Burger was fresh and tasty. Tater tots were perfectly crisp. The chef salad was also fresh and crisp, although a bit small. Breaded Portabella mushrooms appetizer was very good. Prices were very reasonable. We look forward to another visit.”

“hayla burke is one of the best ...”

“There was absolutely no waiting. The food was there shortly after we ordered and it was delicious. The waiter was courteous and friendly. Nice evening ✨”

“Had a late lunch and ordered the Cajun Catfish. It might have been the Cajun fish order I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.”

“love there pizza and you cant get unlimited toppings”

“Their food is usually very good! The buffet is nice and the pizza seems to be the quality of their regular pizza, which is pretty good. The inside of the new restaurant is nice. They've done a good job with it. My biggest concern and complaint is that the food prices are relatively high. They were high at the previous location and continue to be here. They provide rolls of paper towels for the dining room, which is fine. However, what's not fine is that, when I was there the other day, most of the tables did not have a roll available. We had to remove one from another table. As another reviewer said, the buffet didn't have the dessert bar available. It did previously, which was also a dinner buffet.”

“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“This is a little pizza joint in the middle of Eastern Kentucky. It is not pretty, it is not fine dining, it is not avant-garde... But it is fantastic pizza.

Lots of cheese, great flavor, basic crust, but made with care and tastes amazing. It's the south, people are kind, and they know how to cook.

Wether you are passing by on route 23, just coming off the lake, or exploring the mountains, consider a pit stop here, and your taste buds will be rewarded.”

“I love the one in Gainesville by Possum Creek Skate park! Please don’t close!”

“I didn’t get pizza on this visit. I got a Stromboli with chips and a drink. It was very good! Had a great meal with a friend. Was a clean and friendly environment with super helpful and courteous staff. Awesome dining experience!”

“good food, nice people!”

“So I'm hooked on the palace stix for a lot of yrs now (lol) !! They offer a variety of foods & not just pizza, although I would recommend their BBQ Pizzas or the Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza.”

“Though not the fanciest looking building, it was great! We're on a trip from Va & was looking for good home cooking & it was just that! Very friendly place & the price couldn't be beat!”
