Side note- I’m an experienced baker and it takes quite a lot to impress me.Dietary restrictions: You absolutely cannot tell these foods are gluten free. They are 100% gluten free and 100% DELICIOUS!

Tried this for the first time today, I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado Toastie and the Strawberry Dream Cake. I can honestly say, this was the best sandwich and slice of cake I have ever had from a restaurant and the fact it is gluten free blows my mind. So dang good!!

Great place!Do not take this business as just a bakery, they are so much more.I had breakfast here from their brekkie items cabinet, their ham & cheese strata is perfectly sized for a fill-me-up if you get one, and a full breakfast if you get two.The sausage biscuit and bacon biscuit make excellent breakfast sides! The biscuit itself for both is wondrously textured and the two different biscuits are equally delicious in their own way.The mini strawberry cupcake is a great dessert if you like strawberry, and be careful with the donut holes, they are addictive.Dietary restrictions: This place is not just entirely gluten free, there are also vegan and dairy free options!I like Awaken Bakery because I can have anything without a concern of gluten.Also the staff's attention to detail to food allergens and clear labeling and on request information on what they use in their offerings is very helpful.
I ordered the vegetarian sandwich, upgraded the included chips to the mac n cheese, and a vanilla & salted caramel cupcake. I also ordered a cinnamon roll and fireside latte for the drive home, and when I told the owner that this food (meaning the entire meal) was in the top 3 best foods I'd had in my entire life, I meant it. On my drive home, I realized it was the number 1 spot. It's so difficult to find gluten free food where I live (my husband and I were traveling several hours from home and decided to stop here for lunch), so I was super excited to see a dedicated gluten free restaurant. I had to fight back my initial urge to order my sandwich "with no bread" because I'm just so used to having to do that in regular restaurants. I have been to NYC and had gluten free food...it was good, but, Awaken is phenomenal! My husband, who is not gluten free, thought the food was great too! He ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a chocolate cupcake. I wish I had taken pictures of everything we ordered, but I was too excited and hungry to do that. The owner and worker with her are really nice and the bakery is super clean. It's a great place to enjoy food!
