This is my new favorite place in Bowling Green! Nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly people and great food. There are several booths and outdoor seating as well, plus a small bar and grocery area with a lot of unusual exotic items. I ordered burek, which was delicious, and my friend got cevapi that was fantastic. Big portions, plenty to eat, so come hungry. Espresso drinks too! Parking is a little limited, so plan for that, but I will absolutely be back!

Bahar Cafe is one of my go-to spots.
This is where I come to sit down, slow things down, have a cappuccino or Turkish coffee, and read or do Bible study. The atmosphere is calm, never overly busy, and just has a great vibe all around.
The coffee is top tier—honestly the best cappuccino in town. And the food is just as good. The gyro is phenomenal, and the goulash is one of our favorites.
What really sets this place apart is that it’s a small, family-run business. I’ve been going here for years, and I genuinely love this family and what they’ve built. You can feel that it’s authentic and made with care.
If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with great coffee, great food, and real people behind it, this is it.

The most authentic and indescribably delicious Bosnian cuisine that I have experienced in 22 years since I left Bosnia i Herzegovina. The stuffed cabbage (Sarma), the Sausages (Cevapi) with Lepinja, Kranjske sausages, Gulas (beef stew) were identical to the dishes that I had when I was living in country. This place is an absolute gem. There is also a small market with food products from the region. I bought a large jar of Ajvar (pepper and eggplant compote) from Croatia.
