Stopped in today on our way back home from Louisville at the recommendation of one of my best friends. Had a great lunch& a wonderful time! Was too cold today to play or do a farm tour but we will definitely be back our next time in town when the weather warms up! After spotting this place, a U turn was warranted. If you're looking for eats prepared with local farm fresh goods, this is the place. Order your food, shop a little, eat up, get your desert at the ice cream barn and purchase some jarred goods. Chaney's jarred goods are great for gifts, including the usual and the unusual flavors, that may be hard to find elsewhere.
My husband and I came based on recommendations and reviews so our hopes were pretty high for this place. The counter service was friendly. The food was fine. My husband had hoped his chicken sandwich would’ve been ‘freshly’ breaded, however, it was just like grocery store quality. I had a burger, again, fine.
