If you ever find yourself in a full-blown cannoli emergency (and yes, apparently that’s a thing), do yourself a favor and sprint to Danny’s Pasta Co & Focacciaria in downtown Bowling Green.

I needed a handful of cannolis in a hurry, fully stressed and trying to pull something together last minute, and the staff absolutely came through for me. The two ladies working were incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful — the kind of people who make you feel welcome the second you walk in. They even helped turn my “grab dessert and run” mission into an actual thoughtful gift by bagging everything up beautifully and writing the perfect message on the outside for me. That extra touch honestly meant a lot.

And then came the cannolis… what I got was way beyond “good enough” — these things were ridiculously good. Crispy shell, perfect filling, not overly sweet… honestly the kind of cannoli that makes you pause mid-bite and reconsider every grocery store version you’ve ever tolerated.

And the smell when you walk in? Man… it hits you like stepping into an old-school neighborhood pizza joint from back in the day. That warm bread, sauce, cheese, garlic-in-the-air kind of smell that instantly makes you hungry whether you planned on eating or not.

You can tell this place actually cares about food and people. It feels authentic, welcoming, and the kind of spot downtown Bowling Green is lucky to have. I came in stressed and needing a quick save, left wondering why I haven’t been eating here all along.

10/10. Even if you don’t have a cannoli emergency, go anyway.

I hate to give such a low rating because I really wanted to like this place. First of all, the building is not wheelchair accessible, very small space. The parking lot carries the added risk of being towed if you stay too long. The food was BLAND. No seasoning, no flavor. Two of us got the alfredo sauce, no flavor. I got the vodka sauce which did have more flavor, more seasoning but also cost more. The bread didn't taste like anything either. The dessert was better than the pasta, but still not worth the price or the trouble of getting to the place. 3 people ordered 3 different pasta dishes and 2 desserts for $60. That would be fine if the food was actually good but it's not. Plus we waited forever for our food.

Had an emergency last Friday night outside of Danny’s after ordering and the staff were absolutely incredible. Super helpful with handling the emergency (offered us water and drinks and asked if we needed help) and were super generous and gracious to us. Plus, the food is out of this world and has been. We really appreciate it, 10/10 will continue being a returning customer!

The only reason I gave this place four stars on food is because I haven't tried it yet but I'm convinced by the look that everything in the store is 100% legit like a diamond in the rough as far as carry out and delivery options I was amazed at the effort and hard work displayed by the individuals in the kitchen area as I was there. Great job! I'm anxious to go back and try the food and then edit my review to five Stars all around!
